The Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment is a cultural institution of national importance, established in 1877 through the bequest of the Belgrade merchant and philanthropist Ilija Milosavljević Kolarac. For nearly a century and a half, its mission has been dedicated to advancing education, music, and cultural life through concerts, educational programmes, and the promotion of contemporary and traditional artistic expression. The institution is home to one of the most prestigious concert halls in the region, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. In 2027, the Kolarac Endowment celebrates its 150th anniversary.
